Reno Building is a privately-owned, commercial construction company headquartered in Tampa, Florida. Our primary focus is on Educational, Industrial and Medical projects.  We work hand and hand with Owners, Developers, Architects and Engineers to ensure we are meeting every need our clients require.

 

David Reno

President + CEO

A graduate of the University of Florida’s M.E. Rinker, Sr., School of Building Construction Management, David has more than 20 years of commercial construction experience. He is a Certified General Contractor in the State of Florida and founded Reno Building in 2003. Using his years of hard work and dedication as the foundation for Reno Building, he has built a company known for quality and honesty.

Randy Hilgeman

Vice President

With more than 35 years of commercial construction experience, and after serving his country in the United States Marine Corps, Randy decided to continue a family tradition of becoming a builder. He entered the construction industry as a carpenter’s laborer where he began to learn his trade. The core values he adopted as a Marine quickly transferred over to his professional career and, with continued dedication to his work and a can-do attitude, he excelled through several positions: laborer, carpenter, foreman, superintendent, estimator, project manager and senior project manager.

Dave Wade

Preconstruction Director

Dave brings over 35 years of construction knowledge to the team; which have all been spent in the Greater Tampa Bay Area. He grew up in the construction industry since his father was a developer/contractor in the local community. After graduation from St. Petersburg College, he began his career working for a large National Contractor. He grew in the ranks quickly and has carried several positions throughout his career from Carpenter, Chief Estimator, Operations Manager to Marketing Director. Now, at Reno Building, he will oversee all Preconstruction services including estimating. His extensive background in local construction market makes him a valuable asset to any of our Clients.

Trevor Horton

Project Executive

After graduating from Mississippi State University in 2004, Trevor relocated with his wife to Tampa. He began working for a local Construction Manager that focused on education. In 2014, Trevor joined Reno Building and began managing the operations of the company. Utilizing his hands-on skill combined with his education has allowed him to assist our Clients, Architects, Subcontractors and Team Members with overcoming obstacles before then become major challenges.

Cat Robbins

Controller

A Tampa Native, Cat attended the University of South Florida where she obtained her degree in Accounting. After graduation, she spent time working for a specialized contractor that produced and installed products for a large big box supply stores. Furthering her career, she worked with an Assisted Living Development and management company in Tampa. In 2012, she continued to hone her craft while working at PWC in their auditing department, and in 2015; Cat joined Reno Building family and began managing all financial aspects of the firm. Her ability to maintain detailed accounting records supports the firm while maintaining confidence with Reno Building's Surety and Banking partners.
